ADVENT

 

There is a war brewing. Not between nations- but amongst the stars, amongst Gods and Devils. Heaven and Hell are at war-and earth is their battlefield.


The Angels and Demons have opened the skies, and ripped the dirt to wage a Holy War against each other-using the Human Race as targets and cannon fodder. At a certain point, both sides came to the agreement that humanity is the cause of all the issues int he world-not them, and have turned their attention to Earth and wiping out the human race to start off. Without God in their corner-Humanity looks inward for its salvation.


The National Organization for the Advancement of Humanity, or NOAH, a force formed at the onset of the Deity War has stolen weapons from both sides-and have reverse engineered what they hope is their saving grace: The Advent Driver. After several attempts to bond the Advent Driver to NOAHs top agents, the device has mysteriously bonded to a young engineer named Zane Miller. The Covenant attacks a facility NOAH is using to test the Driver, and during the attack Zane accidentally bonds with it-unlocking its power. Now as Advent, he has access to power and weapons-and stands as the last salvation for humanity.
 
Humans have earned a few major victories-killing two of the seven Archangels (Uriel and Gabriel), and capturing a third (Michael). NOAH has found a way to use their DNA to create advancements in the armor-and grant access to new sizable powers and weapons.


The Faces of the War are known as The Covenant.  The Covenant is comprised of Seven Cardinals, each drawing their powers from humanity and their own desires-connecting them to the Seven Deadly Sins.

 What does the Covenant want? And why did the Deity War begin in the first place. This is what we find out in ADVENT













CHARACTER LIST:

 

Zane Miller / Advent
Zane works for NOAH in their R&D department, after an attack on their facility by the Covenant, Zane goes after a prototype weapon he’s helping develop called the Advent Driver. The device bonds with his DNA, giving him access to the Advent armor and weapons. While not a skilled fighter, he does possess his own survival instincts and skills. Over time, he begins to unlock new powers in the Advent Driver-including new forms and weapons. By default, he is armed with the Cross Breaker, which is a gun and snaps flat and an energy sword extends over it.

 
ALTERNATE FORMS / UPGRADE POWERS:

As the story progresses, Zane unlocks the ability to use powers from the Archangels, each giving a different power set, and a different weapon. These alternate forms become known as the Archangel Arms.

URIEL ARMS:
The main armor stays the same, but with Uriel Arms, a dark purple trim is added, and a hood is put over the helmet. Uriel Arms replaces the Cross Breaker with a bow that shoots energy arrows, as well as gives Advent heightened speed and agility

GABRIEL ARMS:
The Gabriel Arms adds a red trim and bulks the armor up a bit, meant for heavy situations. It gives a double bladed bo staff, as well as enhanced strength.

MICHAEL ARMS:
The Archangel Michael is being held by NOAH for experimentations. He willingly gives himself to unlock the Michael Arms form for the Advent Driver. It gives the armor a blue and silver tint, more Knightly in appearance-as well as a pair of twin blades

METATRON ARMS:
Metatron Arms is the final armor enhancement for Advent, which combines the Archangels into one final form. The armor is white with black and gold trim. He carries a pair of long swords, and the black cape can transform into wings
















 OTHER CHARACTERS:
 
The Archangel Azrael:
Azrael-the Archangel of Death- has not been captured, and uses a pair of twin flaming swords. He didn’t choose a side during the Deity War, and instead works as a mercenary. His armor is black and red, with a hood and cloak.



Xander Vernon / SPECTER


Alexavier Vernon is an agent of NOAH who was selected for Project Specter. With Zane not being a trained agent, NOAH is worried about backlash and secretly create the Specter project, with elements of Gabriel’s DNA-as well as members of the Covenant that Advent has slain. They develop the ARK Driver and ARK Saber to be used by Specter, to harness the powers. The Sabre is a long katana-esque sword. He is also outfitted with a black and green armor, and a short dagger side arm.



THE COVENANT:
The Covenant are made up of the Seven Sins, each Cardinal (or General) representing a different one. Their minions feed off of human emotion and they prey off  their specific sin. Almost like an Evil Green Lantern Corp.

 

Lust (F) & Greed  (M)-  are a couple who team up for their missions. They use humanities natural desire to want to drain life-force from the human resistance.

Gluttony (M) - Gluttony feeds off the humans desire to consume. Occasionally paired with Lust or Greed.

Sloth (M) - Sloth feeds off of humanitys laze, draining their life force and causing a deep coma like sleep

Wrath (M) - Wrath feeds off of war and destruction. Fire based in terms of power, he’s one of the strongest Cardinals

Envy (F) & Vanity (F) are sisters, who use humans desire to want to be like every one else, and their own pride to drain their energy

 
Nihil - is the face of the Underworld, originally at war with Mesias, he represents Lucifer or Hell

Mesias - is the face of the Heavens. During the Deity War, both Mesias and Nihil agreed that Humanity was the problem, and turned their attention to destroying Earth to start off.
